Tramuntana Farmhouse
Designing the interiors of Tramuntana Farmhouse began with a respect for place. The aim was not to overwrite the home’s natural Mallorcan character, but to highlight it — the timeless beauty of the Tramuntana landscape and the traditions of Mallorcan craftsmanship. Every material, every piece of furniture, and every detail was chosen to reflect that heritage, while subtle touches of luxury ensure the home feels as comfortable as it is authentic.
The journey starts at the crittal front door, where light pours into the open-plan living and dining space. Wicker, stone, and warm wood form the backbone of the design, layered with sumptuous fabrics that bring energy and depth. A spacious sofa grounds the room for family and friends to gather, while the La Cornue range introduces quiet elegance to a kitchen designed for shared cooking. Views of the garden are ever-present — a reminder that the house and landscape are inseparable.
Outside, traditional terracotta tones wrap the terraces, forming natural gathering spaces. The outdoor kitchen, with a built-in barbecue, pizza oven, and stone sink, reflects the same philosophy as the interiors — practical, welcoming, and beautifully made. The garden unfolds as an extension of the terraces, with a discreet pool, shaded seating, and restful spaces.
The master suite upstairs embodies calm and simplicity, with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom designed as a retreat within the retreat. Two additional bedrooms share a family bathroom, with a focus on light, space, and uninterrupted countryside views. Throughout, comfort is prioritised without excess, allowing the beauty of the surroundings to remain the home’s greatest luxury.
A vegetable patch and chicken enclosure root the property in the rhythms of the land, celebrating the island’s agrarian heritage. Even here, indulgence is present — a custom-built outdoor sauna offers comfort in cooler months. Every detail, inside and out, was chosen to honour Mallorcan tradition while elevating it with refined luxury.
